Group Adventures… Adventure Rents welcomes groups of all kinds. We outfit school groups from 5th graders up (with adult chaperones), Girl and/or Boy Scout Troops with adult leaders/parents, high school and college class academic or just for fun field trips. Family reunions, weddings, birthdays and other celebrations are a specialty, as are team-building or other corporate retreats. We can even coordinate a River Wedding in collaboration with Celebration Connection! |

We can provide all boats and equipment for self-guided or guided paddling adventures, plus guides, instruction, catered meals, lodging and/or camping reservations, massage or other bodywork and more. We can arrange for private evening Moonlight Flotillas in season. Please call to let us help you plan a custom adventure for your group! |
Guided paddling trips… In late winter and early spring, when the rains have opened the mouth of the Gualala River and there is sufficient flows…Adventure Rents arranges guided trips from higher up in the Gualala River watershed. These trips are recommended for paddlers with some experience in moving water. This coming winter, we will be posting river conditions and prospective trip dates, so bookmark our site and check back occasionally. |

Shuttle service… Predominately a late run (February) of native steelhead, the Gualala River is now regulated as catch and release only. The lower section of the river is best known for its fly waters. It is second only to the Smith River in clearing and is easily accessible by a logging road on it's east bank. Fishable waters begin at the confluence of the South and Wheatfield Forks at Twin Bridges on the Annapolis Road and flow from the south fork to the scenic ocean community of Gualala. |
The upper reaches are best fished from a driftboat as the riparian growth is thick along its banks. Adventure Rents provides shuttle service for fisherfolk to Twin Bridges during Steelhead season for $20 per shuttle vehicle.
We also offer shuttles to experienced boaters launching from Twin Bridges, Clark’s Crossing or Wolf Creek put-ins. $20 to $30 per shuttle vehicle passengers only or passengers with boats. |
